Experiment with draping techniques and develop an outfit with a strong and distinctive silhouette.
Hüllenmut
Concept:
Hüllenmut explores the idea of false courage a confidence that does not reflect the inner self. It reflects the tension between outward strength and inner vulnerability, where clothing becomes a protective facade.
Process:
I began with research and visual exploration of the themes armor, facade, and protection. I then focused on fabric manipulation, experimenting with different techniques to explore texture and structure.
In the next step, I developed the silhouette, initially working with paper to define volume and proportion. From there, I created several prototypes, refining the form step by step until the final outfit was completed.
